Although our transportation business is just now becoming known, we have hauled horses for many years.  I carry a State of Texas  Class A Commercial Drivers License.  I have held a Commercial Drivers License for the last 20 years and have logged over a million accident free miles.  When you call us to haul your horse you can rest assure that you are getting the best quality driver, ther best quality equipment, the best quality service, and the best quality care on the road.  Our trucks are serviced on a 3,000 mile schedule., and we service them ourself so that we know what is going on with them.  Our trucks are in excellent mechanical condition.  Our trailer is stripped and cleaned after every load to ensure a sanitary enviroment for your horse.  The trailer is also inspected and serviced every 3,000 miles, with wheel bearings and breaks checked every 10,000 miles.

When you call us to haul your horse we promise the best service on the road.  We are not truck drivers hauling a load from point A to point B, we are horse people dedicated to the safe and comfortable transportation of you equine family member.  We treat your horses like they are our own (and believe me ours are spoiled).  All horses have hay in front of them at all times.  We stop every 2 to 3 hours to check the well being and condition of the horses, this stop gives the horses the opprotunity to stretch and relax for a while and gives us the opprotunity to offer them water.

DUE TO THE ECONOMY AND THE INCREASED PUSH BY INFERIOR TRANSPORTERS, WE ARE NO LONGER BIDDING ON SINGLE HORSE TRANSPORTS.  WE DO GREATLY APPOLOGIZE BUT WE CAN NOT COMPETE WITH THE LOW BALL UNDERCUTTING THAT THE FLY BY NIGHT COMPANIES ARE QUOTING.  WE OFFER A SUPERIOR SERVICE THAT WE WILL CONTINUE TO GIVE OUR CUSTOMERS.  IF YOU WOULD TRULY LIKE YOUR HORSE TO BE TRANSPORTED PROFESSIONALLY PLEASE CONTACT US, BUT IF YOU ARE JUST TRYING TO GET THE CHEAPEST QUOTE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR OURS.  THANK YOU.

HORSES - We do not differentiate between the prices of mares, geldings, or stallions, although there are certain precautions we take when hauling stallions.  As you well know  stallions are completely unpredictable.  We haul some stallions that travel fine next to mares and not geldings or vice- versa, and we have hauled stallions that will travel no matter where you load them and who is next to them.  Then you have the stallions that can not be transported with anyone.  Every precaution is taken when loading unfamiliar horses especially when there is a stallion involved.  Pregnant mares or mares with new borns will be offered a two stall option so that mom and baby can travel side by side.

DEDICATED LOAD - If it is a dedicated load or a rush load where there is not the opportunity to split costs or time to set up back hauls then the customer that requests the dedicated or rush haul is responsible for the total amount of the chargeable miles.  Usually with our smaller rig (one ton dually and 6 horse slant) our dedicated price runs a flat rate per loaded mile.  With this charge you get the trailer to yourself with the option to load up to six horses.  The return trip (dead-head) is figured into this price.  If there is a pre-haul dead-head trip of more than 35 miles to pick up horses then that mileage is figured at $.70 per dead-head mile.  Because of the price of fuel there is also a $.20 per loaded mile fuel surcharge added to final cost.

SPLIT LOAD - If the shipper gives us the opportunity to locate other customers to split the load and find back hauls then the price can drastically be reduced.  For instance if the truck charge is $3.30 per loaded mile and we have six horses on from five other customers then what you pay is $.55 per loaded mile for all miles your horse is in the trailer with the other horses.  As we drop horses at their destination the price fluctuates to reflect horses on board verses mileage to drive.  Any out of route mileage driven to pick up another customers horse will not be charged to you.  Any out of route mileage to pick up your horses will be billed as dead-head mileage @ $.70 per mile after the first 35 miles. It can get monotonous at times figuring mileage, but all charges are figured out and agreed upon before any horses are loaded.  Fuel surcharges will be figured @ $.20 per loaded mile for mileage that your horses are on the trailer only.

REPEAT CUSTOMERS - We have customers that haul a great deal of horses and use us exclusively.  If you become a repeat customer and we haul for you on a regular basis then we do offer discounts on our rates.

EQUIPMENT -    We pull a 2000 Sundowner 6 horse slant load with rear ramp and driver side escape door.  The roof is equipped with several two way vents to allow air flow into and out of the horses area.  The driverside windows drop down and have a seperate window gate that can remain up so horses can get a view without sticking their heads out.  Also the passenger side windows drop down with no gate.  With all windows down the trailer resembles a very large stock trailer.  The diminsions of the trailer are 6'8" wide by 7'4" tall.  We pull this trailer with late model one-ton dually trucks equiped with after market brake controlers.  Trucks are equiped with internet access so that we can send and receive e-mail throughout the entire trip.
